Construction has started on three new state-of-the-art laboratory and office buildings on The Oxford Science Park (TOSP), one of Europe's leading locations for science and technology companies.
The Daubeny Project is a 450,000 sq ft commercial life science development, expected to complete in 2026, which provides significant grow-on space for the Park’s flourishing occupiers as well as new companies from the global life sciences sector.
Each of the three buildings will offer enhanced lab infrastructure to support cutting-edge research with flexibility in mind, and have the capacity for up to 70% wet or dry labs on every floor.
Outstanding natural light, spacious receptions and ground-level lifestyle space with generous atriums, collonades and landscaping, will help foster not just innovation and collaboration, but employee wellbeing.
The carefully landscaped grounds will help increase biodiversity and seamlessly connect the new development with the Park’s already mature environmental landscape. The development targets an Excellent rating under the construction industry’s sustainability standard, BREEAM.
Air source heat pumps, cutting-edge ventilation, and state-of-the-art façade first design will help ensure the buildings are energy efficient, support carbon reduction and utilise 100% renewable energy sources. The development includes generous undercroft parking with provision for 25% EV charging, as well as 537 cycle spaces.
